International Research Experiences for Students in Mathematics USA-Brazil
Spend time in Brazil this summer and get paid to do it! The goal of this program is to foster interactions between American and Brazilian students by providing them with meaningful experiences in mathematical research. It differs from traditional REUs by gathering not only undergraduate students, but also students in transition to a graduate program, and beginning graduate students. It is a great opportunity to get started in a research problem, in addition to acquiring international experience. Activities are conducted in English and no prior knowledge of Portuguese is necessary.
