Alice T. Schafer Prize
The Executive Committee of the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) calls for nominations for the Alice T. Schafer Mathematics Prize to be awarded to an undergraduate woman for excellence in mathematics. All members of the mathematical community are invited to submit nominations for the Prize. The nominee may be at any level in her undergraduate career.

ARCS Foundation
The ARCS (Achievement Rewards for College Scientists) Foundation provides scholarships to academically outstanding United States citizens studying to complete their degree in natural science, medicine, and engineering, thereby contributing to the worldwide advancement of science and technology. Scholarships are awarded for $5,000. Students must have a minimum university GPA of 3.5 and be recommended by their departments, in the scientific and technical disciplines.

Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program
The Barry M. Goldwater Foundation awards scholarships to outstanding undergraduates who have outstanding potential and intend to pursue careers in mathematics, the natural sciences, or engineering. The scholarships go to students who will be college juniors or seniors in the coming academic year. Four-year institutions are eligible to nominate up to four students who are in the sophomore or junior class during the current academic year. To be considered, a student must be nominated by his or her college or university using the official nomination materials available to each institution on the Foundation's website. Each scholarship covers eligible expenses for tuition, fees, books, and room and board, up to a maximum of $7,500 annually.

British Marshall Scholarship
Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a degree in the United Kingdom. At least forty Scholars are selected each year to study either at graduate or occasionally undergraduate level at an UK institution in any field of study. Each scholarship is held for two years.

Carpe Diem Foundation Scholarship
The Carpe Diem Foundation’s mission is to identify, honor and assist the best, brightest and most altruistic college students in the United States. Clare Boothe Luce Program

Freeman-ASIA Award Program
The Freeman-ASIA Award Program is designed to support American undergraduates with demonstrated financial need who are planning on studying overseas in East or Southeast Asia. Gates Cambridge Scholars Program
The Gates Cambridge Scholarships are available for graduate study or for study for a second Bachelor's Degree as an affiliated student at the University of Cambridge. The purpose of the Gates Cambridge Scholars program, administered by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, is to create a network of future leaders from around the world who will bring new vision and commitment to improving the life circumstances of citizens in their respective countries. It is anticipated that Gates Cambridge Scholars will become leaders in helping to address global problems related to health, equity, technology, and learning.

George Mitchell Scholarship
The George J. Mitchell Scholarships were established in 1998 in honor of former U.S. Senator, George J. Mitchell, who served as Chairman of the peace negotiations in Northern Ireland. Scholarships allow for study in the institutions of higher learning in Ireland, including the seven universities in the Republic of Ireland and the two universities in Northern Ireland, for one academic year of study. The program is administered by the US-Ireland Alliance, based in Washington, D.C.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) was created to support and help Latino students earn their college degrees. Since 1975, HSF has been committed to strengthening America by advancing the higher education of Hispanics. Applicant must be of Hispanic background, a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident, and have a minimum GPA of 2.7. Scholarships are worth $1,000-$3,000.

Homeland Security Undergraduate Scholarships for Rising Juniors
The mission of the Department of Homeland Security is to prevent terrorist attacks within the U.S., reduce America’s vulnerability to terrorism, and minimize the damage and recovery efforts from attacks that occur. These scholarships are intended for students pursuing a degree in the physical, biological, and social and behavioral sciences with career goals aligned with the mission and objectives of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Applicants must be a junior the following academic year and a U.S. citizen with a minimum GPA of 3.3. Individuals will receive full tuition and fees paid for 2 years and stipend $1,000/month for 9 months.

A scholarship for graduating seniors that funds up to six years ($50,000/yr) of graduate or professional study in any field. The program is designed to assist highly motivated students who demonstrate severe financial need in obtaining advanced professional or graduate training. Math in Moscow Scholarships
U.S. undergraduate mathematics or computer science majors may apply for a special scholarship in the amount of US$5,000 to cover some of the costs associated with attendance at a one-semester program "Math in Moscow" at the Independent University of Moscow. Five of these scholarships are available per semester, with funding provided by the National Science Foundation and administered by the American Mathematical Society.

Morris K. Udall Undergraduate Scholarships
The Udall Foundation seeks future leaders across a wide spectrum of environmental fields, including policy, engineering, science, education, urban planning and renewal, business, health, justice, and economics. Scholarships are offered to students who have demonstrated commitment to careers related to the environment. Scholarships will also be offered to Native American and Alaska Native students who have demonstrated commitment to careers related to tribal public policy or Native health care.

National Institutes of Health’s Undergraduate Scholarship Program
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Undergraduate Scholarship Program (UGSP) offers competitive scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds that plan to pursue careers in biomedical, behavioral, and social science health-related research. The program offers up to $20,000 per year of scholarship support, paid research training at the NIH during the summer, and paid employment and training at the NIH after graduation. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and have a minimum GPA of 3.5 or within the top 5 percent of your class.

Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarship
The Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarships program is the world’s largest privately-sponsored international scholarship program for university-level studies. Focused on humanitarian service, personal diplomacy, and academic excellence, the program has sponsored more than 37,000 Rotary Scholars abroad since it began in 1947. Scholarships are designed to further international understanding, with Rotary Scholars acting as "ambassadors of goodwill" representing the U.S. in foreign countries. Students may apply for one of three scholarship types:
* Academic Year Ambassadorial Scholarship - 1 year of study in any field in virtually any foreign country. This is the traditional length of study for UCI students.
* Multi-Year Ambassadorial Scholarship - 1-3 years of study in any field in virtually any foreign country.
* Cultural Ambassadorial Scholarship - 3-6 months of intensive language study in one of 11 languages (whenever possible, scholars reside with host families).

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Scholars Program
Competitive scholarships and internships are awarded to eligible undergraduate students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, and math. The scholarship provides one-year financial support up to one-half of tuition not to exceed $10,000, and a paid summer internship at a NASA facility, if selected. Additionally, students will benefit year-round from tutoring, lecture series and STEM faculty, industry, and peer mentors.

Taiwan Scholarship Program
The purpose of the Taiwan Scholarship Program is to provide foreign students with opportunities to pursue their studies in Taiwan and to increase their understanding of Taiwan’s development, cultural heritage and customs. These scholarships are for students who want to pursue their studies in Taiwan. Scholarships up to $30,000 are renewable and can be used towards an undergraduate, a master’s, or a Ph.D. education.

A $2,500 cash award funded by USA Today Newspaper to 20 "All Star" sophomore, junior, and senior achievers who have demonstrated excellent academic achievement, leadership, and community service. The scholarship honors students for what they have already done to extend their intellectual abilities beyond the classroom to benefit society, as opposed to what they plan or hope to do upon graduation.
